Sorry for the extended absence, folks -- I've been busy with national Libertarian Party stuff.

I recently visited Denver as a delegate to our party's national convention, at which we nominated Bob Barr for President of the United States. Congressman Barr's running mate is Las Vegas businessman Wayne Allyn Root. Between now and November, I'll be working hard to earn your vote for our presidential ticket as well as for myself.

So far, my campaign has consisted of attending a few community events and talking one on one with Missourians in the 2nd District. Over the coming months you'll see more of that -- and you'll start seeing mailings, lit drops, yard signs and the other trappings of a political campaign as well. All those things cost money, and if you're interested in a better America, I hope you'll consider throwing some my way.

Together, we can take our country back and make it a better place -- the kind of place where the American dream flourishes and none are left behind.
